Founded over 1,500 years ago, Nanhua Temple in southern China is a leading monastery of Chan, or Zen, Buddhism. It was where Huineng, the legendary master and Sixth Patriarch of Chan Buddhism, lived and taught. Today, his body is still enshrined in the temple.
