An ongoing storm lashing south-central Chile left one person dead and forced over 11,000 people from their homes, local authorities said on Monday. Heavy rains impacted nine regions, from Coquimbo to Los Rios, before subsiding. Lighter showers are expected in the same regions on Tuesday.
