The Republic of Korea's (ROK) military fired warning shots after soldiers from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) crossed the Military Demarcation Line near the border, Yonhap News Agency reported on Tuesday, citing South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The DPRK's military suffered "multiple casualties" in a landmine explosion near the border, Yonhap reported.
