A mysterious metal monolith was found on June 16 near Gass Peak in Las Vegas, approximately 25 miles from downtown by Las Vegas Metro Search and Rescue. The peculiar-looking metal slab is one of many which have been found across the world in recent years. More recently, a 10-foot high monolith was found on a hilltop near Hay-on-Wye, Powys, Wales, in March 2024.
