As part of an international outreach, Chaoyang District in Beijing is hosting a friendly basketball match between Chinese and foreigners working and living in Beijing. The friendly match is part of the second CYBA Chaoyang Basketball League, which will last for more than half a month, until the end of June. The basketball team composed of Chinese corporate employees and the team of foreign media reporters from Brazil, Colombia, Pakistan and other countries will stage several matches in Chaoyang's popular outdoor basketball court, Chaowai Street, to promote international sports and cultural exchanges. In the future, Chaoyang also plans to invite teams from embassies in China and other foreigners' groups to join the CYBA competition and make it an event that promotes people-to-people connections.
