At the 30th Beijing International Book Fair, Niels Peter Thomas, the managing director of books at Springer Nature, told CGTN that AI is already being widely used in the publishing industry and that it helps authors and researchers improve their writing. However, it also brings with it ethical problems of transparency and responsibility, he added. He urged China and Europe to work together to develop AI research and regulation.
