Ukraine's military said its drones struck four oil refineries, radar stations and other military objects in Russia in an attack in the early hours of Friday.
"Unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the Afipsky, Ilsky, Krasnodar, and Astrakhan oil refineries," the Ukrainian military said in a statement on the Telegram messaging app, adding that Russian radar stations and electronic intelligence centers in Bryansk and Crimea were hit.
The Ukrainian military said it also struck drone storage and preparation sites in Russia's Krasnodar region.
The Russian Defense Ministry later said it intercepted and destroyed 70 drones over Crimea and the Black Sea, 43 drones over the Krasnodar region and one drone over Volgograd.
One person was killed in a drone attack near a train station in Russia's Krasnodar, local governor Venyamin Kondratyev said on Telegram, adding that several administrative buildings at an oil refinery in the region were damaged.
