The 2024 Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is not only a platform for exchange between Chinese and overseas films but also a window to present Chinese cinematic arts. What types of films are popular among global film fans? Do they have any expectations for the future development of Chinese films? Does Shanghai fit their imagination of the "city of film"?
