China and Poland on Monday issued an action plan to deepen their comprehensive strategic partnership.

According to the plan, the two nations agreed to prioritize cooperation in areas including economy and trade, investment, connectivity, science and technology, green development, and people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

Economy, trade and investment

Recognizing the huge potential of China-Poland economic and trade cooperation, the two sides agreed to deepen bilateral economic and trade cooperation and expand mutual market access, including enhancing business alignment, it said.

The two sides voiced their commitment to promoting the export of Polish products to China, facilitating the inspection and quarantine access of agricultural products and expanding the scale of trade in agricultural and food products.

Both sides support two-way investment cooperation in fields such as electric vehicles, green development and logistics. They also pledged support to improve the investment environment to provide equal opportunities and a fair, competitive business environment for enterprises of the two countries to enter each other's markets, the plan said.

Connectivity

The two sides are ready to further strengthen railway cooperation, promote Asia-Europe railway connectivity and jointly create a stable, economical and efficient transportation channel, the plan said.

Noting that the Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company sets an example for shipping cooperation between the two countries, the two sides voiced their support for its continued development.

Both sides are willing to update their agreement on civil air transport in a timely manner to provide more opportunities for route operations, the plan said, adding that they are ready to further support airlines of both countries in gradually increasing direct flights.
