Armenia is a significant partner of China in Central Asia. The exchanges between the two countries can be traced back to the ancient Silk Road over 2,000 years ago. Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1992, cooperation between them has deepened. In an exclusive interview with CGTN, Hakob Arshakyan, Vice President of the Armenian Parliament, commended China's modernization efforts and opening up in recent years. He also expressed Armenia's willingness to enhance cooperation with China across various sectors, including economy, trade, infrastructure projects, aviation logistics, and cultural heritage preservation. Arshakyan emphasized Armenia's commitment to collaborating with China in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative, particularly through projects like the Crossroads of Peace, to maintain regional security, stability, and share in the benefits of development.
