Chinese geo-spatial information expert Li Deren and physicist Xue Qikun were honored with the highest accolade in Chinese science on Monday. They received the State Preeminent Science and Technology Award for their outstanding contributions to scientific and technological innovation. The awards were presented during the National Science and Technology Award Conference in Beijing.
