Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Beijing on June 22, starting his state visit to China. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Poland. Bilateral relations have been developing smoothly, and practical cooperation has been fruitful in recent years, according to Lin Jian, spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry. He said China stands ready to work with Poland through this visit to deepen mutual political trust, expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields, stay at the forefront of the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, and enrich the China-Poland comprehensive strategic partnership.

A CGTN stringer recently hit the streets of Poland to ask locals about their expectations about future bilateral cooperation. Svetlana believes that this visit will mainly focus on bilateral trade. "China is a vast country with a dynamic development momentum, so the visit to China is highly significant for Poland," she said.
