People of the Mongol ethnic group are inhabitants of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, along with dozens of other ethnic groups. Recently, a team of journalists from 11 Arab countries arrived at the Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture in northern Xinjiang.
