Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan offered his condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over the weekend attacks on churches and synagogues in Russia's Dagestan in a phone call on Tuesday.
Erdogan condemned the attacks, which claimed 21 lives, and the two presidents have agreed to continue close coordination of actions in the anti-terrorist direction, a Kremlin statement said.
