As the creator of the technique known as "hyperphotography," French visual photographer Jean-François Rauzier, who recently unveiled his solo exhibition in Beijing, has dedicated himself to showing how he has worked to preserve architecture and cultural heritage through this photographic technique. This has manifested itself in his pre-production phase, using multiple angles and repetitive shots of the same type of architecture, exhibiting its grandeur and mystery.

Born in 1952, Rauzier has been involved in photography since childhood. He began by capturing memories destined to fade with time. Today, he increasingly seeks to use his art to bear witness to the invaluable heritage left to us by millennia of civilization and the contributions of generations of artists, craftsmen, architects and poets.

Rauzier's work is now being shown both in China and in France as part of the 2024 Normandy Impressionist Festival. This simultaneous exhibition, which will run until September 1 in Beijing under the name of "Givernisme," represents the fascinating cultural dialogue between the two countries on the 60th anniversary of their establishing diplomatic ties.
