Shuanglin Temple in Pingyao, Shanxi Province is celebrated for its rich historical heritage and cultural significance. With more than 2,000 painted sculptures dating from the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is a repository of one of the oldest and most glamorous folk arts in China.
