Ambassadors from Samoa and the Solomon Islands express confidence in China's economy

Ambassadors from two Pacific Island countries have spoken highly of cooperation with China and expressed their confidence in China's economy.

Speaking to students at Peking University, Samoa's Ambassador Luamanuvae Albert Mariner and Solomon Islands Ambassador Barrett Salato said cooperation with China has achieved fruitful results. They also expressed a willingness to strengthen cooperation in various fields, including infrastructure, green development and tourism.

Qian Bo, China's special envoy for Pacific Island Countries Affairs, also attended the session and the round table discussion. Following the event, the ambassadors told CGTN that the youth are the future and conversations with students should be further promoted.
