Peruvian President Dina Boluarte visited COSCO Shipping in Shanghai, the second stop of her five-day state visit to China. COSCO Shipping is cooperating with Peru to build Chancay Port, a landmark project under the Belt and Road Initiative. Professor Yue Yunxia, director of the Department of Economics at the Institute of Latin American Studies under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, says Chancay Port will become a new channel between Latin America and the Asia Pacific region.
