It's considered the largest indoor ice and snow theme park in the world and is set to unveil intricate ice sculptures in the likeness of Harbin's landmarks.
Harbin Ice and Snow World has completed construction on a range of sculptures, structures and scenery, among them a model of Harbin's famous St. Sophia Cathedral.
Made with stored ice from the Songhua River and colored with pigments for effect, the sculptures will soon wow visitors with their vivid qualities.
Multilayer insulation, dim lighting and sealing help to prevent the ice melting, even in the height of summer.
Dress warmly though; these icy wonders bask in the exhibition area at temperatures between -8 and -12 degrees Celsius.
