The Chinese Ministry of National Defense says Taiwan region leader Lai Ching-te will be condemned by history and punished according to the law. A spokesperson made the comments in response to Lai's speech at the centennial celebrations for the Huangpu (Whampoa) Military Academy in Taiwan.
