A feast for birds or a life-changing leap for carp? Every year from June to August, naked carp in Qinghai Lake in northwest China's Qinghai Province begin their incredible journey, swimming against strong currents from the saltwater lake to freshwater rivers to spawn. But for the birds, the migration is like a seasonal buffet. The rich fish resources now attract tens of thousands of birds to live and breed in the area.
