Palm weaving is a traditional skill practiced in Chongqing Municipality. It is a handicraft made of palm leaves and has a history of more than 1,700 years. Wansheng palm weaving is renowned at home and abroad due to the characteristics of its works, and was on show at the Belt and Road International Skills Competition in Chongqing.
