The 2nd Belt and Road International Skills Competition concluded on Wednesday in Chongqing, southwest China.
A total of 190 contestants from 61 countries and regions competed in 18 events. After two days of competition, the competition produced 18 gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as 41 excellence awards. Among them, eight teams won gold medals, and 20 teams won other medals. A total of 36 delegations won various awards (including excellence awards), with a winning rate of 63 percent. From the regional distribution of the winning teams, there were 14 gold medal winners from Asia, one from Oceania and three from Europe. There were 38 other medal winners from Asia, 13 from Europe, two from Oceania and one from Africa.
