The 2024 Summer Davos Forum concluded in Dalian on Thursday. More than 1,700 guests attended the meeting, among which, over 200 innovative enterprises were represented.

This year's forum focused on six major themes, including "A New Global Economy" and "New Frontiers For Industry," with "China and the World" as one of the important topics of the forum. Participants said that China's high-quality development not only promotes global economic growth, but also injects new momentum into the world economy.

Malaysian Minister of Economic Affairs Rafizi Ramli said that Malaysia needs to learn innovative technologies from Chinese enterprises and the country looks forward to cooperation in advanced electronics and semiconductor industries. Cooperation between the two sides will enter a stage of rapid development in the next few years, he added.

Participants also said that the new industries and models spawned by China's new technologies are bringing new development opportunities to many countries, stimulating and maintaining the positive momentum of global economic development.

David Adelman, managing director and general counsel at KraneShares, said that the economic development of China, as a huge economy, is impressive, and the country has done a very good job of managing the business cycle.

Simon Lacey, head of Digital Trade and Geopolitics at the World Economic Forum, said that China has a very strong manufacturing base and has long been a significant high-growth consumer market. He added that the world cannot recover from the shocks of the past few years without China's boost to the global economy.
