The Republic of Korea (ROK) has imposed sanctions on four Russian vessels and eight people from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), accusing them of engaging in illicit weapons and fuel trade and other activities, Yonhap News Agency reported on Thursday, citing the ROK's Foreign Ministry.

The sanctions also include five entities, including the DPRK's missile administration, which was responsible for the latest missile launch on Wednesday, the ministry said in a press release.
