The East Hall, as the central structure of Foguang Temple, is an outstanding example of traditional Chinese architecture. Built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), it has stood the test of time for over a millennium. Supremely elegant and majestic, it is a testament to the outstanding skill of ancient Chinese architects.
