Artificial intelligence (AI) has been one of the most talked-about topics at the World Economic Forum's (WEF) 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian, China.

CGTN's Michael Wang spoke with Jeremy Jurgens, a managing director at the WEF who also heads the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, about the potential labor-displacing impact of AI technology. Jurgens believes AI is more of a complement to human skills and can help workers move up the skills ladder. Jurgens also observes the fast pace of China's innovation ecosystem supported by a strong technical and mathematical foundation that is allowing Chinese technological innovation to go global.
