The 17th China-Latin America Business Summit is scheduled to take place later this year and is set to promote deeper economic ties between China and Latin America.
In Beijing, an event was recently held to promote the summit, which is scheduled to take place in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, signed a memorandum of understanding with Nicaragua's Ambassador to China Michael Campbell. The event also featured a promotional session for the second China International Supply Chain Expo. As a cornerstone and stabilizer of Sino-Latin American relations, economic and trade cooperation between China and Latin America has expanded in scale, broadened in scope, and risen to higher levels in recent years.
