The Chinese Tennis Association on Friday announced the squad for the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. A total of seven players will make up the Chinese national team.

Wang Xinyu, Wang Xiyu, Zhang Shuai, Zheng Qinwen, Zheng Saisai and Yuan Yue will participate in the women's events. Zheng Qinwen is currently eighth in the Women's Tennis Association's (WTA) world rankings table, the highest of all six players. She reached the fourth round at the French Open on the clay court at Rolland Garros in 2022.

Zhang Zhizhen will be the only Chinese player competing in the men's event on behalf of China. He made history as the first male player from his country to secure a seed at Wimbledon. He made the third round at the French Open both this year and last year.
