Located near the Forbidden City in Beijing's Xicheng District, Xishiku Catholic Church was first built by French Jesuits in 1703 during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Its architecture blends both western Gothic and traditional Chinese imperial garden styles, attracting young couples to choose the church for weddings and bridal shoots.
