Technicians are testing and adjusting an 18-megawatt offshore wind turbine after its installation, preparing it to generate 74 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually. Once testing is complete, the turbine will connect to the power grid. Ninety-nine percent of the 18-megawatt offshore wind turbines set components were produced in China, and all its core components were independently developed and manufactured locally. China's installed offshore wind power capacity, accounting for about 50 percent of the world's total, has ranked first globally for four consecutive years.
