July 1 marks the 27th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. CGTN's Enoch Wong spoke with Sean Lee, a young Hong Kong local who studied art history at Columbia University in the U.S. and is now a graduate student in public policy at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. They discussed Hong Kong's strategic positioning as the "East-meets-West center for international cultural exchange." Through personal experiences and observations, Lee argues why great civilizations need art, and that the "One Country, Two Systems" framework is crucial for safeguarding freedom of expression in Hong Kong.
