Six people had been confirmed dead, and eight others were injured in a traffic incident in South Korea, Yonhap news agency reported Monday.
The incident occurred at about 9:30 p.m. local time near an intersection of the Seoul City Hall when a vehicle appeared to have crashed into pedestrians waiting for a traffic signal.
Local police said the number of casualties may rise.
