Lotus flowers are in full bloom across northern China's Shanxi Province. The flowers are luring many visitors to the cities of Yangquan, Taiyuan, Changzhi and Linfen. The beautiful aquatic plant is regarded as a symbol of longevity in China. Around 2,000 square meters of lilies have blossomed by Jinyang Lake in the capital city of Taiyuan. The blooming season will last from late June to mid-July.
