Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the expanded meeting of the SCO, or SCO+, on Thursday.
After the summit, China took over the rotating presidency of the SCO for 2024-2025 and is set to make new contributions to the development of the multilateral framework.
