Former Health Minister Masoud Pezeshkian is ahead in initial results of Iran's runoff presidential election, the interior ministry said on Saturday.
With 2.547 million votes counted, Pezeshkian won 1.263 million votes while his opponent, Saeed Jalili, won 1.244 million votes, the ministry said.
