The Confucius Museum is now at the peak of the summer vacation season, attracting students from across the country. The museum in Qufu, the hometown of the philosopher Confucius, in east China's Shandong Province, is a national first-class museum. The introduction to Confucius features five sections: the age of Confucius, the life of Confucius, the wisdom of Confucius, Confucius and Chinese civilization, and Confucius and world civilization. There are also a large number of cultural relics on display in the museum, including private documents, ancient books, clothes and a large number of ritual instruments.
