Over 5,000 people resettled after dike breach in central China

The authorities have relocated residents in Huarong County after a dike breach on Dongting Lake in central China's Hunan Province. More than 5,000 people have been resettled at four temporary shelters across the county. There have been no reports of any casualties or trapped individuals. Some 500 million yuan (about $68.7 million) in relief funds have been allocated to nine flood-hit provinces and municipalities across China.
