A total of 180.5 meters of the 226-meter-long dike breach at Dongting Lake in central China has been sealed as of 5 p.m. Monday, with 45.5 meters left, China Media Group reported.
Local government authorities said they are sealing the breach at a speed of 3.5 meters per hour, and it is expected to be sealed before noon on Tuesday.
