Song Tao, head of both the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, met with Hung Hsiu-chu, former chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) party, on Monday. The two attended the 7th Cross Strait Youth Development Forum in Hangzhou, eastern China's Zhejiang Province.
