The 226-meter stretch of dike breached on China's second-largest freshwater lake, Dongting Lake, was sealed at 10:31 p.m. on Monday night. Rescue operations were in full swing at Dongting Lake in central China's Hunan Province after the breach on Friday. All the people affected have been safely evacuated.
