The ties between China and the Solomon Islands have been strong since the two established diplomatic relations five years ago, said Barrett Salato, ambassador of the Solomon Islands to China, in an interview with CGTN's Zhong Shi.
The people of the Solomon Islands have seen tangible benefits through trade and infrastructure cooperation with China, he added.
