Keir Starmer on Tuesday made his first speech in the House of Commons as UK prime minister after last week's general election.
Addressing MPs, Starmer said the House now has an opportunity and a responsibility to show that politics can be "a force for good," and "politics of performance" must be replaced with a "politics of service."
Starmer officially became the UK's new prime minister on July 5 after the Labour Party achieved a landslide victory in the country's general election.
