Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Wednesday. President Xi said China cherishes the profound friendship forged by the previous generations of leaders of the two countries. China is ready to work with Bangladesh to establish and promote a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries, he added.
