Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant claimed on Wednesday that 60 percent of the fighters of the Palestinian armed group Hamas have been killed or wounded as a result of Israel's military offensive in Gaza.
Speaking in the Israeli parliament, he also claimed that Israel had broken up the majority of the 24 battalions that the Hamas military wing had at the start of the conflict on October 7.
