The China Coast Guard in early July monitored and restrained Philippine Coast Guard vessels that attempted to transfer personnel and supplies to a coast guard ship illegally stationed at China's Xianbin Jiao in the South China Sea.
China's Defense Ministry spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang said that the patrol and law enforcement activities are legitimate on July 12.
