The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Friday announced the country's decision to take countermeasures against U.S. military contractors and senior executives that participated in arms sales to China's Taiwan region.

The U.S. has recently announced another round of arms sales to Taiwan, seriously violating the one-China principle and the three China-U.S. joint communiques, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

It has severely interfered in China's internal affairs and gravely undermined its sovereignty and territorial integrity, the statement said.

Among the six firms shown in the attached List of Targets of Countermeasures were Anduril Industries, Pacific Defense and Maritime Tactical Systems, whose properties and assets within China will be frozen, it said.

Wahid Nawabi, CEO of AeroVironment, and Brian Schimpf, CEO of Anduril Industries, were among the five executives who will face asset seizures, a ban on entry into China and other countermeasures, the Foreign Ministry said.
