Ancient Greece and ancient China rank among the greatest civilizations in world history, with both countries spawning some of the greatest minds and philosophers such as Aristotle and Confucius. At the 10th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations, reporter Yang Yan spoke to Stelios Virvidakis, president of the Steering Committee of the Centre of Greek and Chinese Ancient Civilizations, as he explained the connection between China and Greece in terms of philosophical thought and thinkers and stressed the importance of humanistic education for promoting essential values.
