Expert: Air quality improvement faster in China than elsewhere

Between 2013 and 2023, China increased its forest coverage from 21.6 percent to 24 percent of its total land area. Guan Dabo, deputy director of the Tsinghua Institute for Carbon Neutrality and chair professor of climate change economics at Tsinghua University, says that the improvement in air quality is faster in China than anywhere else.
