Suzhuang Village in Gaoping City, north China's Shanxi Province, has a deep historical and cultural heritage. It boasts 24 well-preserved Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) courtyards and is known as a living museum of ancient residences of Shanxi merchants.
By restoring valuable courtyards, houses and streets, the village has revived its ancient appearance and integrated wedding ceremonies with the architectural culture of the ancient village, fully showcasing the local wedding customs. Suzhuang Village now offers a unique traditional Chinese wedding experience to both visitors and newly married couples.
